A bit about me

I'm a backend software engineer with about 8 years of experience building systems that need to stay up at 3am when nobody's watching. Most of my career has been spent working on infrastructure, APIs, and the unglamorous plumbing that makes products actually work.

I currently work on distributed systems at a mid-size fintech company, where I spend my days thinking about consistency guarantees, latency budgets, and how to make on-call less painful for my team.

Outside of work, I contribute to a few open-source projects, write on this blog when I learn something worth sharing, and I'm slowly working through every mechanical keyboard switch known to humankind.
